My Backyard

First image I'm posting here..I'm obviously new to all aspects of photography..the weather was finally nice here the other day so I ran down the street quick to take pictures of whatever I could and this is the best I could come up with..can't say I'm suuuper happy with it but considering the rest of the pictures I've taken - after putting this one through 5 minutes of Lightroom I figured I'd better get some criticism to help me better myself.

May I ask what it is? The photo isn't bad, but I was wondering what the subject is used for.

If you're asking about the logs, I'm not sure myself what they're being used for. They have them stored as such along the river at a lot of different spots

Editted to add:

Actually now that I think of it - I did title this "My Backyard" It isn't literally my backyard if that was what you were intending. The river is just down the hill off my front street. Logs aren't my property
