My best Milky Way shot

Taken in Arkansas a few months back, used a Canon Rebel XS with stock lens. Definitely not the best for astro because the ISO only goes up to 1600 and the lens is slow.

Data: 1600 ISO, f/3.5 30 seconds.

I'm upgrading to the 60d soon, going to invest in to a wide angle fast lens for my astrophotography adventures.

Nice one, Iv got a Nikkor 35mm 1.8, Once the star tracker arrives I hope to have a lot more fun with that lens
