i would like to see it vertical so she is filling the frame without background distractions. But she is great

It looks dark to me. I'm on my laptop, so that may be why. But overall, it looks dark and dingy. Much like I would expect if you were trying to give a grim or foreboding mood.

I'll have another look when I get home to my much brighter desktop.

I fixed my post... not sure what was up with the funky symbols?

You are right it is somewhat dark/gloomy. This is the only edit that I have like this one. For this particular photo I like it. It definitely is not typical.
