The Eagles were photographed about 5 miles from my house. I live in the Pacific Northwestern part of Washington State in the little town of Burlington. We are 65 mines north of Seattle in the Beautiful Skagit Valley.

Superb; so far i haven't seen such a beautiful shot of that kind as in the second image; third is also marvelous; then which one is bad? none of them :thumbsup:

Thank you Frequency! The shots were not made in ideal conditions, the back lighting was terrible. I was standing on the shoulder of a very busy road, so I was being buffeted by the wind off of passing vehicles and I had to Hand hold my 400 mm L series lens. I got very LUCKY with the images I got.

Here is an Eagle shot I got last Fall while out in my boat fishing with my wife and 2 friends. We were in my 14 foot boat, so again I was without a tripod for my 400 lens.

Nice set.....but those darks are tough to expose on cloudy days.
