My favorite couple shot

I was scanning through my archives recently and found this couple shot which I took a year ago as a practice test in spontaneous photography. I just love the look in their eyes, so much love!

And... when you say it's your favorite shot, that makes a bit difficult for the rest of us to critique it

I'm not a fan of them on seamless, I'd rather see them in front of some beautiful scenery, thats romantic, maybe have some candles lit..........nvm

Well, they were then.. As a hobbyist, my job is to capture a moment and freeze it in time. What happens as time flows is out of my control.You are more than welcome to critique, it is my favorite but favorites are not always the best shots so feedback is good for improvement

I did try using a black backdrop to see if they stand out, but prefer this background instead. I understand what you mean about incorporating some sort of props to make it look natural. Thanks for the feedback sscarmack!

She doesn't seem that bothered to me she looks like she is pulling away from him

I quite like this. If it was cropped slightly lower so his elbow wasn't clipped, it might make quite a nice stock image. Colour-wise, it appears to have a slight yellow cast, but that might be my eyes - I was just looking at a blue image!

It's cute as a shot, but it looks a little put-on like they were playing around, not real love.
