TPF Noob!
I live in the Chicago-area (northwest suburbs) and have been involved in photography for the past thirty years or so. It all started in high school... with the first modern SLRs (Minolta, Pentax, Canon, Nikon) and a struggle to see who could outshoot the other.
Well... film costs are gone, now... and digital looks like it will most likely rule the roost for the future. Instant photography has always been the dream... where you could examine your efforts and adjust, instead of waiting twenty minutes to see if you even got close.
Anyway... armed with my trusty EOS 20D, I intend to rephotograph the planet... :lmao:
