My first baby shoot

I'm not sure where to post these for feedback. But here are some shots from my first baby session with family.

I like the 3rd shoot the best, No 1 is a good idea. She must be a few months old ?

Cute kid! Agree with Banana, I like #3 the best. The concept in #1 is good.

I'm not a baby photography, so here are some general, abbreviated comments from a hobbyist:

#1 - More DOF. Vignette is a bit much in the first.
#2 - Weird processing.. background is bright, guy is dark, baby is blown out. Colors seem off.
#3 - Cute. There also seems to be a greenish tint (top of baby's head, on baby's right cheek to forehead, and on right elbow)--WB issue? Something to do during shoot, fix headband bow.
#4 - Cute shot, but too much negative space at right. Clothing and bow clipped at top center/left-center. Seems out of focus?

Thanks for the feedback! The baby is 3 months old but was born a month early so she is developmentally ~2 months. She was very fussy!!

On the family shot, what is the best way to achieve a more balanced color? Dad is naturally darker and I see where the baby looks washed out. How can I balance this better?

These are well done.

You're cropping very close to the baby's head. If any of these are for print, remember; that most frames will cover part of the edge.

On the family shot, what is the best way to achieve a more balanced color? Dad is naturally darker and I see where the baby looks washed out. How can I balance this better?

I would assume you'd want to get your WB consistent between ambient and with any added lighting.

But, I'm far from being an expert. If you post your original picture here (SOOC?), and allow editing, someone may be able to help out. A lot of it can be fixed in post, but it's time consuming.

Also, there appear to be a lot of artifacts in the images. Did you downsize to post on here?

They are edited and downsized. When I post should I be posting the SOOC shots for feedback then editing or processing the image after. After thinking about that...that makes more sense since I am wanting feedback on my portraits vs showing my portraits. I'm a noob.
