yeah, it's a boring old seagull, but I'm kinda happy that I got it in focus, lol.

What's with the dis-colorizing in the sky in the upper right?

yeah, forgot to fix the hor tilt.

anyone know what the deal is with the crazy discolorization in the sky? it is just cause i was kinda panning and the sun was bright over in that direction?

the sky does not seem unnatural when I look at it. . . maybe it does in comparison to what you actually saw?

I see that, but it does not seem crazy odd to me. It looks like a nice natural gradient. ????

yeah, sun was setting amongst the hills so some spots dark some light, most likely the culprit.

Very fixable with a little mask and paint. Don't make me edit it, or the sea gull will end up carrying an ice cream cone

I see what your saying...I noticed the tone of the sky....my brain automatically assumed it was sunset/sunrise I think. I still works though...gives a warm feeling to the image

I'm trying to leave pics alone lately. Not because I am against editing, but because I am finding myself spending way too much time editing. Especially on non prints.

I am forcing myself to take 1-2 shots and move on, and not spend hours editing. It is actually helping me and making me better I believe.

although, on this I shot 5 and on the plane I shot 9. But I am allowed to break my own rules, especially when manually focusing at 200mm. lol. It took me the first 4 shots to get the damn thing focused, then it flew through my dof plane so i held shutter for 5 shots. lol.
