Hi All,

I have recently moved onto my first DSLR (a Nikon D3100) I am still very much learning the camera but nevertheless enjoying taking shots with it, here are some of my early attempts with my new equipment...

Thanks for your time...:D

Wow wonderful photography good shots and nice capture specially the 2nd and 3rd images are amazing....

2 is pretty nice, maybe you could try and remove the overhead lines in post?

Thanks, and yes I agree with you on the overhead lines. Ruins the rural bliss slightly doesn't it! I'm not great on photoshop but I can manage that I'm sure...thanks for your comment

i like #2 and 4. interesting perspective on 2 and i like the composition on 4. though i think 4 could use some editing, maybe some more color. good job! =)

Other than #3, pretty good IMO. I like #1 and 2 the best.

Not per se; for me it's the blown exposure of the sky, the flare and the unbalanced composition lacking a point of interest or engaging form(s), to the right. Imagine a diagonal running from the top left corner to the bottom right corner..if you had something placed on that axis, in the mid-ground (field), right-half of the shot, there would be some balance and greater interest.

Thanks for the comments guys! It is definitely the most positive feedback since joining the forum! Hopefully that means progress is occurring! Thanks again for your time! :)

Subject is way too small in number 1. Besides that, not bad at all!

#1 I think this would be better w.o the person in it
#2 I rather like this one
#3 Power Lines.... >:l
#4 Feels washed out to me.

What a wonderful photography of nature! Liked all the pictures but the 2nd one was really awesome and best of all.
