my first monos

a few quick shots i took at sunset yesterday. went out to take some landscapes originally but the surroundings were pretty boring so I ended up with this instead. let me know what you think! i wanna go back and redo the pano of that church when the sky is better!

These are lovely. There is a disturbing red cast in the snow of the second pic. Kinda creepy with all the tomb stones by the church. Although it's working well, if that was your intent. Love the quality of light in the last pic. I bet you could crop that without the tree line and still have a good image. The OOF sun is stealing attention from the gorgeous texture in the snow.

If first, they're actually quite good! It's hard to make a mono in snowy times without scorched areas.

All are very good; last one has an outstanding composition. As mentioned, the red cast is a bit disturbing in the second; you may please adjust the tilt in the last image

I really like the third one as well. The second feels a bit tilted when looking at the church as well as the horizon line. Maybe it's just my eyes though.

thanks for commenting guys. for some reason i prefer shooting b&w in the snow. i never seem to like the way the colors turn out.
