My First Moonshots

Bought a Canon EOS 600D some weeks ago, until yesterday there wasn't opportunity to get nice shots of the Moon, but with clear skies I took my recently bought Canon IS II 55-250 and gave ita try:

Mid afternoon:

1/800 F5.6 ISO 100 250 mm Crop 100%

Night:

1/50 F/11 ISO 100 250 mm crop 100%

Very nice! I love the moon when it's not completely full and you get the nice shadow line.

Nice, looks similar to the shot I took. Did you manually focus or use autofocus?
