Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I took these photos a few months ago while in the Grand canyon but just got around to trying to stitch them together. This is my first attempt at making a panorama in photoshop and it is one of the only panoramas that I have attempted. The camera was handheld so the horizon is not quite level but I could not figure out how to fix it, any ideas? Also which version do you prefer- Color or black and white?

Thanks

One way to level out the horizon is to edit each frame so the horizon is both level and in the same place in each frame. Use the edited frames to stitch together.

I have, in a pinch, leveled out the horizon of the finished pano using selective rotation and skewing.

did you take it with portrait orientation? You should. Also make sure you select the cylindrical photo merge. I would just merge it, flatten image, then rotate and crop. I wouldnt fix the horizon before merge. That is what photomerge does.

no, these were taken in landscape orientation and I just copied these into different layers and arranged them that way.

you should take it with portrait orientation next time so you have more room to work with. Photoshop will arrange and merge them all together for you. Very easy.
