Hi all my first upload here, i took this shot of my niece last year, using a 400D and 50mm 1.8.

Thank you, actually she was in a mood over something when i took it, i think that's why she has this expression lol

Her eyes are cropped too far left, you're missing the 3rd on that side (rule of thirds), but, if you can recrop this with her eyes slightly closer in, this is a stellar shot.

I would crop off the right-hand side of this, and make it into a square composition, or, perhaps even a vertical!! INteresting expression she has--very "different" and definitely not a run-of-the-mill expression.

CA_ unfortunately this is the whole image so i haven't any room to maneuver to meet the rule of thirds, bad composition on my side, but it was a spur of the moment shot.

Derrel i'll have a play with a square composition and see how it looks
