Just got my camera for Christmas and these are some of the pictures I have taken with it so far. C & C welcome. I know it's nothing special but it is a $90 camera so you can't ask for too much(at least I don't). Some of them have been retouched with Photoshop and others have not. To see any of them in full size or any of my other stuff go to this link

I think the last picture shows the best composition. You've got a great angle that really shows the truck off and managed to get the whole thing (with trailer) into the shot. I don't like how it blends in to the background, though, or the light-pole coming out of the hood just in front of the main window.

The dog looking out the window also has potential, although again I think things are too dark. (You've also got an apparent case of red-eye going, but that's probably to be expected with a simple camera.)

The second one (dog in the window) is just too busy. The title suggests that the dog is the subject, but you can barely make out the fact that there is a dog there. The idea looks like it has potential, but it also looks like it's going to take a lot of work to accomplish.

Yeah I know what you're saying. The second one I took outside into a dark room. I just thought it looked cool. Wasn't really trying to accomplish anything with it. I just happened to walk by and he was looking out and I wondered what it would look like if I took it. That's pretty much what I am doing with a lot of these. Just trying things out with camera settings and situations and what not.

The other one was also in a dark room and it was dark outside. I guess that doesn't work well with a dark dog.

Thanks for the comments.

You gotta start somewhere, and I'd say its a good start. The "rust pile" is my favorite of the bunch.

Read up on composition..... The "rule of thirds" is your friend. If your $90 camera offeres some flexibility with settings, I would read up on exposure too. Bryan Peterson has a book called "understanding exposure"

It doesn't suck.

C&C as requested.

First off i'm going to say, number your photos, it'll make it easier for people to cc you and it's not too much to ask.

So #1, Classic panorama feature on the camera, cool looks alright, I would have gone further with it.

#2: It's OOF and you got some motion blurr and also can't make out the subject.
#3: Really a boring shot, just a house.
#4: Different angle I think could have made the shot better
#5: Too much fill flash and it's OOF
#6: Looks cool, kind of an HDR touch to it. I like it
and #7: Front bumper looks a little OOF, nice composition, goo angle. Nice shot.
