I dont really know. my camera's shutter speeds confuse me. it just has numbers. here ill write em in maybe you can help me ha im still new to cameras. (2000, 1600, 1200, 1000, 800, 640, 500, 400, 320, 250, 200, 160, 125, 100, 80, 60, 50, 40, 30, 25, 20, 15, 13, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.5, 2, 1.6, 1.3, 1", 1.3", 1.5", 2", 2.5", 3", 4",5",6", 7", 8", )

have you read the manual? If you had experimented with those shutter speeds as you said you did, it would be obvious what they mean. 2000 - 1/2000 of a second shutter speed. 8" - 8 second long. The shutter speed is the amount of time the sensor is exposed to light.

Long shutter speed means more light will hit the sensor. Faster speed means less light hits the sensor

Your camera took this image at a shutter speed of 1/10s ... you will need to get slower to produce a more fluid effect to the water ... and a tripod.

I suggest trying to take the same picture at 3 different shutter speeds so you can 1st hand see the difference it will have in your photographs. This in tern will help you predict the outcome of your future photographs prior to even taking them. I see that you seem to be shooting downward. Try lowering the camera to get a different perspective of what your photographing. Make sure you are always on a tripod! I like your 1st shot shown. It has a nice milky look in the water with nice greens on the rocks. And the highlights nicely contrast the shadows in that photo. Keep up the shooting and Good Luck!
