What's new

my first self portrait (not photoshopped)

and its the blinds in the back that are slightly tilted, not the camera this time, i used a level for this one

maybe your window frame is fail lol... look at the right part of it... can see it's not straight!

not my favorite photo, but i can kinda see what you're going for... keep it up!

how about move the black light lower and in front of your face, tilt yuor head up, but keep it in the hood?

Try the same with a dark hoodie (if you have) instead of light.

Try the same with some glow in the dark face paint :)

thanks for all the great ideas everyone, when i get off work tonight ill try out some other black light positions, maybe try to straighten out my blinds too, or try a different position that makes it look more perfectly straight

Honestly, skip the blinds as a backdrop, it doesnt help the image. If you are going for a freaky looking black light photo, try and isolate everything else in black except your face.

I agree with the blinds. I think your getting a lot of extra light because of them and also it takes away from the subject matter quite a bit.

I bet those ideas would make an awesome pic. I think seeing at least part of your face would add a lot to the picture.
