While out riding today, it got rather hot so i pulled over in the shade to take a break. Pulled out my camera and practiced panning. I am a car enthusiast so i was hoping for something really cool to drive by that i could shoot. This was about as "cool" as it got lol. Anyways i have never really tried panning before and i am happy with the results. The bg blur along with the wheel blur and one of them turned out pretty dang sharp. Wish the first one was as sharp as the second as i like that composure more but you cant win all the time.

Not bad at all for a first go; you've got good motion blur on the wheels, and decent focus on the car!

I think you did pretty well, and you used a slow enough shutter speed to give good blurring to the foreground and background objects, and yet you tracked very well with the car, and rendered it with enough blurring to convey a real sense of movement.

Agree , number two for me too but both good panning shots

Sent from my mobile device because I’m either outside or too lazy to get my MacBook..
