Hi all,
I'm a bit creeped out by spiders but after seeing some of the fascinating shots on here I finally found a good candidate in my garden and managed to work out the extension tubes enough to get a few shots. it was pretty windy and the web kept blowing about which just added to the difficulty in getting focused properly, but here is the shot I'm most happy with so far:

Shot with Canon 70-300mm f4-5.6 with 9mm extension tube
My thoughts on this is that it still needs improvement, shutter speed probably needs to be a touch faster and I could probably do with experimenting with flash to get the ISO down a bit more with a bit more DOF.
