This is my first ever sunset shoot, so critique is more than welcome! Anything to help me improve or know my strengths and weaknesses in these...

Erm... ... what "weaknesses"????
What did you do between the last photo and the last but one?
I think Photo 2 is best with regards to the exposure and the intensity of the sun, and the rays come out so nicely. Things in the background get just the amount of detail I would want to see ... that one is the winner of the lot.

I like the colours in the last one, but the bridge in the foreground makes it a bit clutered.

On the earlier shotes the horizon looks wonky, based on the angle of the hull of the ship. Easy fix in Photoshop, and something that I find extremely hard to get right when taking the pictures in the first place.

Could you try the same levels adjustment on pic one or two?

The horizon is slightly tiltled in the first two. I also think they could use some minor PS adjustments. But...I also think you did a great job :) You managed to place the sun offcenter, which I think is important. And you gave us something interesting to look at in the fg.
