Last night was the first time I got to shoot our newest niece. C&C is definitely welcome. I'm still new to this, less than 3mnths with a DSLR.

I would have loved to, but the parents are a tad bit overprotective so I didn't want to grab the childs head to turn it lol.

I like #1 and 4 the most.

#1) Nice shot! What a sweet picture of baby sleeping!

#2) If possible I would investigate different angles and get closer in. something with mostly feet, less in the background. Sometimes you get what you can if your not at liberty to move the subject around and get to where you need to be.

#4) Another nice shot! I like how the mother's eyes are looking right at you. Nice moment captured. I would try to get a little lower, it feels like you're looking slightly down, and I would crop in a little bit tighter. Although, cropping in a little tighter with Mom looking upward might be pretty neat without getting down any further. I guess I would have to see them both. Just a couple thoughts.

I'll try the cropping on 4 and see if it looks any better. That's not the mother though , it's my wife, the Aunt lol.

The foot picture was very impromptu, but I will definitely try a different angle on the foot next time

Hey, your wife is smokin. I think it everytime I see her, lol. I like the picture of her and the baby. Very sweet. Wish you'd not cut off her hand tho.
