Hi i am a newbie in photographs world, i have made some attempts such as this: Picable - Photo Page: Pelican Peter Mykonos located in the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos and i want to ask if i have the fundamental technique in order to continue... Thanks

You should continue if you have an interest in becoming a better photographer. It's a learning process and everyone learns at their own pace. Read books about photography, ask more experienced photographers for pointers, take lots of pictures and learn to see what makes some photos so much better than others. I'm sure it's not beyond you to
become quite good at it if you are open to advice and constructive criticism along the way. The Pelican photo is ok for a beginner. See if you can figure out how it might have been a better or more interesting shot. there's lots of experience and advice here on the forum if you want it
