Two words: Lavalier microphone. Good audio is 75% of a video's success. Background noise and wind noise will make most click away within 15 seconds.

Next bit of advice: You need lots more editing. More angles. More raw footage. It needs to be broken up more. Otherwise, you're just droning on.

Third: I gotta ask... what is the point of the video? What are you trying to convey? If you're going to teach something, do three things. 1. Tell people what you're going to teach them. 2. Teach it to them. 3. Tell them what you just taught them.

Fourth: Storyboard. Don't just pick up a video camera and hit record. Have a plan. Take a look at some of the most successful YouTubers on the platform and count how many cuts and scenes they have. You'll be surprised.

:allteeth: I have taken notes. I have never been in front of the camera ever, nor am I photogenic. As mentioned, we are upon some unusual times and I want what is best for my students. Since we cannot meet in the classroom we are being forced to lecture online. So while I was out taking some photos I thought I might as well start this train wreck. I agree with all your advice. I have even learned how to use adobe premier pro. Here is to the next video:trink39:.

Need a good microphone.

As mentioned, a good microphone, a plan and get right to the point, no apologies and a little more upbeat. I did one video and felt the same way about it so don't feel too bad, you're not alone.
