...but I definitely plan to go back. What a beautiful little town. I wish I had a longer stay so I could have wandered around more.

And I learned that shooting at 1600 ISO with my Nikon will definitely generate some noise.

im sure it does, but i can never remember any of the names of the bars i go into. too intoxicated lol

I love little towns, great way to spend an evening doing photos. I like number one, if you where to tilt it just a tad counter-clockwise it be perfect.

Thanks. I'm going to adjust the horizon and post it again. The light coming through the huge old oak trees was amazing, especially with all the Spanish moss. I wish my stay had been long enough for me to experience more varied light conditions. I definitely plan on going back.

The first one is just great !!

Thank you for your kind words. One of the things I loved about Savannah was that the historic section of downtown seems to have a small park every 2 or 3 blocks. Each of the parks has a sculpture or a fountain and such amazing trees. The parks often have street vendors or street performers. I wish I was more comfortable taking pictures of people, but I'm working on that. When you add in the river and the historic buildings, Savannah is pretty cool place to walk around with a camera.
