My First WEDDING :D

I like the second one, as it is sharp and decently shot. The last one okay as well but might be better with a bit more saturation. The others ones are okay but don't pop out to me as much. How did the rest of the wedding go?

Haha, yeah. It's a popular place! There were actually two other wedding photo-sessions going on - I was trying to steal ideas while hiding the dinkiness of my equipment from them, lol.

The rest of the wedding went well. I would post more, but I just got flickr and didn't notice the upload limit :S... I'll try and post more when I can. The actuall wedding part was less exciting. It's a different culture, so they didn't go to a church or have any ceremony. After these pic were taken, we were in an apartment's rec-room - not very photogenic. I have many shots there, but I don't think they're worth posting; They appeal to the bride & groom, but to those uninvolved, they're very boring.

I think the quality is degraded in the upload, as some of the whites are blown out where they're not on the originals. Most of them are alot sharper as well, although not all. I find this lens can be soft sometimes.

14. I was having dificulty with the flash triggers, so this was salvaged from the raw file causing lots of grain. I think it is still ok for smaller prints, though.

You had some really good captures in there. I think you should be proud of what you accomplished with what you had for gear. I have seen people with much better gear produce garbage. And at least you got a few shots for a portfolio if you decide to pursue it down the road.

That second set of pictures you posted look just as good if not better than the first ones! Way to go! You are my inspiration to go out and try to do a wedding sometime soon! Keep up the good work :thumbup:
