i like it, I think its a pretty good shot. It might could use a touch of warming up. In this case the tiny chops don't bother me.

People tend to veer away from pictures taken by moms of their kids, because anything other than "OH MY GOD WHAT A CUTIE AND WHAT AN AMAZING PICTURE OF HIM" often results in raised hackles and claws out and slashing.

ESPECIALLY when the thread has a title like "My Handsome Boy"!!!

Eyes are WAY oversharpened! DOF was not adequate to get his arms/hands sharp, so they are a rather distracting blur.... although it probably wouldn't bother those that don't know any better. Even the face is slightly soft.. eyelashes are not crystal sharp (shot at 1/60.. probably handheld? You need a tripod for that speed unless you use flash). Lighting is a bit uneven.. the highlights on his cheeks and chin are over what they should be (they are hot). A bit too yellow too (constant light? Flash is better!)

Just being honest.. not knocking the kid. Just the shot...

Noted...I'll title my pics differently. I am looking for honest C&C on the shot, so wouldn't be offended with opinions. My kids are just easy subjects for learning.
