Although I do not particularly like children... It is terrible what has happened - and everytime they show it on tv I cry... (Maybe I just don't like some children)...

Also though, I support that the government thought what they were doing was the best. (when they took fire)...

I would much rather die knowing my government killed me while trying to save me and my friends. Rather than die feeling like no one cared because they didn't try to help... And they were put in a position where they had to make a decision... If they didn't take fire - the terrorists would just keep firing - and this way - some people got out alive... just not enough...

North side of Brissy, a lil' place called Eatons Hill. Its near Albany Creek and Strathpine. It's a nice place - close to the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast but still near Brissy where I work.

I went to a place called Bribie Island on Father's Day with me boys. I got some nice shots of pelicans and the beach... but everyone else's shots are so damn good here I am too embarrassed to post them. LOL.

I haven't been to Melbourne - but I heard it's nice and cosmpolitan.

I've been following this in the news. The media reported that some of the terrorists worked on the school renovation during the summer break and that's how they were able to get the explosives into and around the building. Alledgelly the captured terrorist said that not all of them knew what their "mission" was and after the siege started some objected. Those who objected were shot.

Personally I think that is BS. If you're planting mines and explosives in and around a school I think you'd have to be a total idiot not to suspect what was coming down the pike. Additionally these people already knew that the hatred for the Russians out weighed any other cause or emotion. This guy knew from the start and is now just trying to save his own life.

Also I think this was a suicide mission. With all the preparations these guys did they knew they were'net getting out of it alive and planned on dying there and taking as many of those children with them.

We all thought the events of 9/11 were horrible and prior to 9/11 most of us never thought anthing that horrible could happen. Now this and it is the most horrible thing I ever heard of.

I cannot fathom how killing unarmed little children is worthy of a warrior. I still cannot fathom how peole can rear their children with nursery rhymes of hate.

Unfortunately people like this look at respect, courtesy and love as weaknesses to be exploited. This isn't just a religious war or a political war. It is a war aginst western civilization. These terrorists want one thing and one thing only - control. They want to control our lives and force the world back into the stone age. They have hijacked a religion and are using it as justification to kill. If their god was so kind and loving why whould their god order them to kill.

Like cancer it needs to be cut out. Love, kindness and turning the other cheek isn't going to work. They understand only one thing - the bigger hammer. They have accomplished some of what they set out to do. They have created division amongst good people. They have made good people hate. I don't think they will totally succed. What they will eventually accomplish is the raining of death and destruction on themselves and their children. I think mankind will have many more days of sadness to come until they are stopped.

Like I said, "When you know that much pain, hurt and suffering, you don't always make good decisions."

I wish someone would do a biography on each of the terrorists so that I could be proved wrong. It would be much easier if they were all just callous b@st@rds. I just don't think it will turn out that way.

How much pain must one have sufferred to consider hurting a child?

I'm from Ipswich... (Not by choice, believe me..)... And I wasn't born here either...
