My guess is that when Terry (the Queen Moderator) saw that last line, she started to laugh.

First your children are just beautiful - and good models.

It is very easy to have a white balance that is off and have light a little too strong with children. They don't have too much color in their skin and, without looking carefully, we can let the picture be too cool.

I made this a bit warmer and increased the red saturation a bit so the baby's skin loses that bluish cast overall and there is nice contrast with the color of his shirt.

ya, i learned the hard way about the f2.8 and the narrow a DOF.
I will increase the ISO to 400/800 to see the difference. .
my problem with the WB is that i'm trying to fix it in Lightroom and its ok, but its give me a warmer background instead the white.

in this photo i increase a bit the exposure, I'm trying to get the sweet spot, So which one's better?
I like the second, but in the 1st there is more details.

I'm glad I came to this thread because my strobes should be here soon, and I will be making the same mistakes you are

I would be using somewhat of a lower aperture f/4 + to get those hands in focus, but let me iterate that I am no professional and learning myself. So don't take my advice too seriously
