Commonly described by realtors as "in need of a little TLC" or " a bit of a fixer-upper" and "just perfect for a bit of a handy-man".

The desk is a repair job I would not take on in my workshop.

"thatll buff out"

CC anyone?

I think black and white works perfectly in the first two to convey a sense of decay. I think black and white would also make the third image more powerful as well.

I converted it to black and white, bumped the contrast a little and added some "film grain" to make the image more stark and abstract. What do you think?

I think you need to sell your prints if this is where u live

^ lol, jokes

Wow stm, that came out looking great. The only reason I didn't convert the third one was because I liked the colors in the rust, but it looks fantastic. Thanks, its appreciated.

^ Thanks, but I actually prefer STM's version. Theres not enough contrast in your version, sorry!

After seeing both images on another pc monitor, I can agree with what you said.

I like these  I too liked the rust colours in the colour version but the black and white looks very good too. I like the textures in photo 2.

Thank you.

I LOVE the pic of the desk in color! That is awesome!! I love stuff like that :D and #1 is just kinda creepy ;) in a good way!

Wow dude, you stepped up to the plate and knocked it out the park on this one. Love them all, compositionally, colors, everything.

That desk is crazy lol, just looking at that thing makes me want a tetanus shot :P

Lol, thanks dude. Yea, I had ended up staying up all night this past Saturday just riding around looking for this exact place. It was stuck in my memory, but I couldn't place it to be honest. I ended up finding it on the outskirts of St. Martinville (not sure if your familiar with Lafayette area).

Anyways, I took alot of pictures at this spot, there are others that come out really well, Im gonna post them in this thread a little later.
