My latest wedding...How did I do?

They look great on my screen, too - no problems with image size here.

Nice series, Kathy! These are fun and lovely to look at - I bet your clients will be very happy. :)

Some minor nitpicks....?

I would have loved it if you'd kept the couple seated the same way in #4 and shot just one with fill-in flash, so you could compare later with the back-lit one (when not under the gun). This is a great-looking couple and a terrific, casual pose. More!!

I adore that shoe in #5....maybe crop out a tad along the top? My eye is being pulled away by that strong bokeh! You have a good eye for fun.

I wish the handle of that thingy wasn't cut off in #8...great setup, though.

All in all, nice work!

I really appreciate everyone taking the time to critique these. I feel after staring at them soooo long in post processing that it is so nice to get fresh perspectives.

I think you did swell on #4. I bet...no, I know, the couple will pick that as a top favorite. Well done!

I think you got a lot of strong shots. Excellent work!

I find #1 to be pretty ambiguous. That could be a funeral as well as a wedding! Placed carefully in a set it captures the feeling of anticipation, of waiting for the bride. Randomly tossed down, it doesn't tell a story at all.

#2 was clearly a massive technical challenge. I first thought "Oh man, she blew out the dress" but then I saw the suit. I don't know how you handled this one, but what I would do make two separate images from the raw file, one that gets more detail in the dress, and one that gets more detail in the suit (maybe 1 to 2 stops apart) and then blend the two images carefully with some masking. Possibly you've already done this, or something equivalent, and this is as good as it gets before you fall over the "ok, now it just looks weird" cliff. I should be clear -- you did very well here, there's some texture in both the dress and the suit! I just think you might be able to push a wee bit more detail into them, and I think that could strengthen the image.

All the rest of them look great! There's some style choices I am not in love with, but which I recognize as part of the idiom. I'm not offering to pay you for these, so my taste is less than relevant!

Ohmygosh!!! These are all so amazing! I really can't say enough about the shots you captured. I think the one, if I had to pick, that is my fave is the dad looking at his daughter! There all just wonderful though, denise

These are great. Especially like how you went down low on the kids between the isles, and on the shoe pic the foreground and background is OOF

Even being a beginner I know what you are saying about seeing your shots over and over in editing etc. I have done a couple of slideshows with music and I am my own worst critic. If I were to have a big wedding I would hire you in a minute, Denise
