Michigan has the largest fresh water shore in the world. Add to that the ocean-like waves on Lake Michigan, and the serenity of the sunrise side, Lake Huron, and you can tour the entire state, both upper and lower peninsulas, and see unique landscape all over the state. There are a large number of lighthouses, both active and preserved that offer beautiful architectural shots.
