I had to shoot wide open as it was getting dark.

F100 with Fuji Pro400H.

I love that unmistakable film look. Perhaps someone can articulate it better than I, but the film definitely has an appealing, organic look.

Any processing? Were the eyes sharpened or colorized at all?

No the eyes were not sharpened or colorized. I just did some basic editing.

She has really blue eyes. Makes it easy.

How did you scan? On my monitor the bigger image looks as if it has had an unsharp mask applied. Maybe just my monitor... or my eyes.

Cute! She's a darling! I am assuming the niece is the one with blue eyes? lol!

I keep thinking about buying a film camera again.. haven't shot film seriously since the late 80's! I found a OM-4T, a T20 flash, and three good lenses last night for under a $100. I was VERY tempted!

And I say go for it. I love shooting film Even if I still have a long way to go.

There is nothing like film. If the thought has even crossed your mind... just DO it.

Is this a scan of the negative? Scanning negatives is a whole art into itself. If you are going to really pursue film it is worth looking into a quality scanner.

I'm not sure how Walgreens scans their film. I'm guessing that yes it is from the negative.
