I've always been a Nikon shooter--tried Fuji and loved the XPro3, Back to Nikons, can't count how many Nikons I've had, Recently sold the Fuji.
and bought the great little Zf Mirrorless being "romanced" by all the rage over no mirror cameras. Even traded my D780 towards the Zf I had the
D780msince they first came on the market, I now miss my gone D780---bought a new 780 , happy, the Zf is great but it is gathering dust!
I know it sounds funny but besides it being more than up to everything I do--it feels good in my hand; weight, grip,, everything.
It works for me Tough also; my first D780 survived a trip to all 4 corners of the country strapped to the back of my Harley!!
DSLR not yet dead

Still have and use my dslr's. I even just got a refurbished D7500 to play with. Though I now have 3 mirrorless bodies. They are all useful!

Nice to make influencer-free decisions. Shoot what works for you! Have friends who fear dying in their sleep not owning whatever Nikon/Canon just rolled out. Went on my first--and last--Toronto photowalk with new group last weekend who needled me about my "street bag" cameras: a Fuji X-100T and a Ricoh GR II. Argument predictably unspooled that these were just p&s cameras--not what (oxymoron alert!) "serious amateurs" shoot. But what totally freaked them was the pretty Nikon F3HP+MD4+Nikkor 35/2 I blew a couple rolls of Tri-X through. OK, perhaps a bit perverse--and something of a reverse fashion statement--but shared here just to further argue that conformity can be a bit of a trap. Life's too short for that!
BTW, killer Window Rock shot. Just a postcard without the bike!
