All light is natural light, and is made from the same thing - photons. The only difference is the light sources color temperature and quality.

So you used available/ambient light and strobed lighting.

Sure, I only have I guess and entry level camera and I just bought the flash haven't used it to much still have to read up on it. I thought the built in flash is too harsh. Is there any suggestions on when I take photos outside I have always heard you put the sun to the side of the person but always seem to have shadow on face. Is this info wrong???
