Just figured I would get peoples thoughts feel free to critique. I am going for mafia / flapper inspired look here.

You failed, IMO.

It sure as hell doesn't look "mafia", and it falls pretty short of what I envision a "flapper" to be... It's a nice B&W, but as far as your theme goes - it's a failure.

She looks more "criminal" than he. Put a saxaphone in his hand vs that tommy gun and you'd have nailed Jazz Guy theme. ;-)

Good picture, but yeah, I don't see it matching up.

but I see how its "inspired" by these looks! the guns, her sequined top,...
however I don't see what the flower adds to the "flapper"ness of her look.

OH that's not a flower?? I'm sorry I can't tell so much. looks feathery now, which (if it is a feather) is def more flapper styled

Apart from what's already been said, I feel like it's too dark and has blown highlights despite that.
