As some of you know, I like to make homemade light modifiers and such. This is one of my most complicated builds to date. If you going to attempt this, better set aside a weekend or two!!!!

Without further ado, I bring you.......THE MILK CARTON MODIFIER.....dum dum dum

Pretty good shots of the pets. I'd love to see a photos of a bowl of cereal made with it. Just for comparison.

I assume you will point this straight up? I would put reflective material on the back side so your flash wont work as hard.

I actually wanted it to shoot light all around like a light bulb would do. What i had in mind was putting this behind my subject. it would create separation light, and light would bounce off walls and ceilings to add extra fill for my main light. haven't tried it out in that scenario though.

Oh ok.. if you put it behind the subject, it would work pretty good I think. It will illuminate the background as well. But if you are out in the open, you are better off do it with no modifier. Just point it straight to the subject from the back. Nice! I rather use this than spending my $ on gary fong dong

What kind of milk? 2%, Vitamin D, Skim, 1%, Chocolate? Organic?!! the list goes on and on.

I think we're missing a lot of critical info here.

You see it all depends on your flash, The cheap flashes can get away with skim milk, better import flashes work well with 2%, and for you sb-800's and such, better go whole.:lol:

I actually plan on getting a round plastic cover that goes over lightbulbs and doing a nice job with it. something I wouldn't mind actually using in a shoot. Might work on that later this week. I'll keep ya updated when I do it.
