Taken at the summit of Mt. Evans in Colorado, the highest paved road in North America.

I really wish I could reprocess this the way I currently do my images I'm not entirely happy with how it came out, however I had a memory card failure while I was out there and all that was left was a tonemapped JPG :(.

I like it. Its a little bit dark towards the bottom left and would be nice to see a little more detail there. To bad the front tire is cut off. The sky is cool it looks somewhat like a painting.

I have noticed your pictures have a lot of blue. Mine have reds and yellows..

Those mountains in the background look really cold to be at. Over all nice mood good use of color and processing works well IMO.

Blue is my favorite color so subconsciencly it's probably why.

The tire was cut off because it was 15 degrees at the top and my riding gear just wasn't cutting it so I took 3 shots and left haha. It is a little dark which is why I wish I had the original files to re edit.

Here's the pic we had taken (my little cousin was with me) it was too cold to take off our helmets.

I love it. :) I woúld put a little less blue but its good like that also

Wow, such a dramatic shot! I love it! I love blue, and I love that bike!!

Pretty neat shot. Editing wise, I think you could improve it by removing some of the texture detail in the road.

I agree... I have greatly improved my editing however after losing the RAW files this is the only thing I have left.

I dont usually like HDR type photos, but this one really looks cool. I think it could be the harshness of the environment coupled with such a great performance machine. Im a petrol head (cars) and you have given me inspiration to take some performance cars out to the desert here. Gets my thumbs up:thumbup:

It wouldn't be that difficult to build the bottom of the missing tire and road to give it some air. Other than that I love the pic. Very dramatic image.

Thanks for the kind comments!

Nice! Me and one of my bikes was up there this past july, and it was quite the ride from Tampa, FL!

Cool looking photo :) That's one road I wish I had done when I lived in Lakewood. Maybe if I can get on w/ DG I'll try it out :)
