Like I said in his thread, I really focused on the single exposures on this trip, with some really pleasing results (for me anyway), I'll be posting a few keepers in the photo galleries, landscape, general, and nature and wildlife.

Anyway, here are my merged and tone mapped images from the other day. Let me know what you think.

Yeah they look pretty good, I'm not loving the location though. Personally I don't like to see tree cut stumps and little seedlings growing horizontally...

There were a few large stumps like that one lying around, the sanctuary is preserved (and quite well) so I figure if the tree was cut down, there was probably a good reason for it. As for the trees laying sideways, it's a large stream that when flooded can actually get rather high, and with all the flooding we've had in upstate NY this year I'm surprised there wasn't more damage done.
