It's pretty out of focus, and you are mixing light, making some whites yellow and others blue.

Seems like a combination of too thin a DOF and some motion blur.
Can't see exif, but it looks like stopping down and using a tripod would have helped here.

I think the subject is worth the effort to get it right - it's quite an interesting flower. As has been noted above, the mixed colour temperatures are somewhat distracting, the depth-of-field is a little thin, and the out-of-focus points on the left of the image don't (at least in my mind) contribute to our appreciation of the rose. If I was to make a suggestion, it would be to use a longer focal length further away, with a deeper depth-of-field, a tighter framing, and a more consistent (in terms of temperature) light bounced off a reflector to give us some more modelling of the petals.

You may also want to look into a technique called "focus stacking" which will allow you to combine multiple images with varying points of focus into one image with impossible DoF - there's some good freeware for this.
