OMG! That last photo is horrible in a very good way! Seriously, I was very squeamish about bugs before I joined this forum but, having seen all the close-ups and macro shots, I am beginning to like these bugs! :thumbup:

I tried to get some shots of a hatched egg sack once but I was too grossed out and gave up. You're brave sticking your face a foot away!

Love the second shot. I don't think their was much to worry about, mamma didn't look like she was in the mood to 'pounce' at that point. With that many kids she was probably just looking for a moments peace.

Wolfspiders are best when sautéed to preserve its texture, moisture and flavor. Finish the meal by deglazing the pan's residue and mixing in the whisked spider eggs to make a succulent sauce. (and you though the photo was gross.. lol)

The photo of spider is awesome. But the Title of thread is misleading. It should be like “Maternity stage of Spider”
