He woke up yesterday with a sour attitude and was sitting on the floor being unpleasant, so I told him to just stay there and be unpleasant and maybe I can turn his attitude into something positive.

Well, Atheist, seems like Mrs. Wife has a good teacher!
As the results are good - also thanks to the model, of course! How nice of him to just stay put and grumpy, so mommy could set up and capture his mood! He could as well have turned away being REALLY p..sed about being grumpy AND forced to model at the same time!?

Thank you all so much. I've been using my hubby's old RAW files and trying to duplicate what he does. I spent a large part of the last three days going through tutorials and trying to duplicate his stuff till I figured out how he gets the look he has. He helps me out when I have questions but I think I'm slowly getting hooked.
Did you see what Grandpa said? Ill be waiting for my own camera asap!

Nice capture, thank you for posting .... most parents only shoot smiles..... photographers shoot anything. When my oldest was 4 I took a picture of him crying ...it is one of my favorite pictures....he is 28 now and laughs every time he sees it
