I got the 24-70mm a couple nights ago. I feel like I finally have the bare minimum to be a wedding photographer now. Next investment would be an UWA, then a new full frame camera (5d II or III). Then after that I will start building my prime lenses. But I promise my self anything I buy forward will be money I earn from photography.

I am faithful to my brand, however I am jealous when I see the 70-200 2.8... Again I love my brand and I can't really switch now because I have so much invested in lenses.. Now I have to wait for a full frame Pentax and a fast telephoto...

That's either blasphemous or rather cute.

LOL I have the same set up almost but for Nikon. I'm trying to stick to the same philosophy of not buying anything more until I make some more money too but it's tough!

Let's go with cute ;)

I'm on Nikon, but I'm working towards something similar. Just got a 17-50mm 2.8, I want the 70-200 next.

I have the "crop trinity" :-P

Would love a 24-70 as soon as I get a FF.

I love my 24-70!! I'm definitely looking for the 70-200 f/2.8 as my next addition. *Sigh* I think it's time to win the lottery.

Great lenses :) I think those are the best combonation to have.. anything over will be like a plus ..

Those are the lenses i am willing to have but still no income from photography.. as soon as i start making money from photos i promise will get all :)

If you want to save some cash fand get your ultra-wide sooner rather than later you might consider the Samyang 14/f2.8...it's manual focus but razor sharp!

Did you get the female version of the 70-200? It looks like it's got a pink band rather than a red one around it? Or are you trying to raise awareness for breast cancer while you're rescuing cougars? :lmao:

LOL.. im not a good product photographer (or any kind) i guess.

So... what lens did you use to take photos of the lenses?

my 500D with 18-55 kit lens.
