The thing with abstract is there has to be something somewhat dramatic in the photo IMO. This has mostly the same colors, lighting is mostly even. Some crazy dramatic lighting or color change is what's needed here... angles are good though.

Just my two cents. Nothing too interesting about it.

Do a 180 on it, and it will look like a solid floor.
