No that's how I cropped it. Well, minus the top where it was just dead space. But as far as her body goes, its cut off there. I have almost similar shot here w/ another model. But after that shoot, I think I much prefer the half body crop.

Nice shot Mo... would you mind telling me how your lights were set up? If I had to guess, I'd say there was a large softbox a few feet away from her to the top left of the frame, but I can't tell if you used any additional fills or reflectors.

Thanks! I used 2 lights on this. You are correct about the first light. It was a x1600 with a large softbox placed about 45 degree t omy left. I used a x800 on the right side that's almost about 90 degree to my right pointed toward her with a barn door with different power level. I do not use light meter so I couldn't tell you the exact stop difference. I play it by my eyes as thats what I've learned to do. Hope it helps.

Oh and I did have another x1600 with a beauty dish behind her, pointed toward her hair, for fill light. I am not sure if I had it on on this shot as I've doen both ways for different shots.

It used to be me leaving 4-5 days a week, sometimes for two weeks @ a time, spring to late fall. Now its hard to pry me off the property.

I'm sure when we hit the golden years she'll leave for weeks at a time or I'll leave weeks at a time :lmao:
