Name That Famous Photographer:

A few years ago a friend showed me a documentary on a famous photographer. I'm trying to find it again, but with zero luck. My hope is that I can relay some information about this famous photojournalist, and you can supply his name, or the title of the documentary:

- British by birth, but worked mostly in Africa
- I want to say he worked a lot for National Geographic as a photojournalist
- He was killed/died somehow in Africa, not sure the specifics of it
- He died young
- His journals were quite noteworthy, too...


Who is this !?! It's racking my brain !!

When did he live/die?

Try googling Tim Hetherington or Dan Eldon; both were British photojournalists who died in Africa. Eldon seemed to be more into film, though. Don't know for sure if either of them worked for National Geographic.
