Thanks guys. Unfortunately he was along way away and I was shooting at 300 mm, which is the longest lens I have. I tired cropping it but didn't really like the result. I am waiting for Nikon to release a 100-400 mm Z mount which I can use for landscapes plus use a TC to get extra reach for birds/wildlife.

Sounds like a good plan, I wouldn't go over 1.4 with the TC.
