NASCAR in Richmond, VA

My brother and I are French NASCAR fans who were on a trip to the US in September. We went to see two races. Here's from the first one : Richmond, VA.

I shot those with the Canon 6D at ISO 2000 and the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM. Some were taken from the grandstands and others from the side of the track. What a crazy experience to walk around the track while the race is happening. The wind, the sound, pieces of rubber from the tires hitting you... That was so amazing!

It's always tough shooting through the fence but you have a nice ones to take home. Pictures from these events never translates into the feeling of being there live. I'm sure it was a great experience for you and your brother.
