Nashville, TN Dam

Was in Nashville, TN on business and brought my Camera Along with me, sat at the Dam for awhile and captured the two Images below, thoughts?

I like the lights reflecting. Personally I prefer the first one. The yellow/orange glow is uniform and draws attention to the structure and the reflecting lights. I find the lighting on the structure in the second one as well as the lighter sky and water on the right distracting. They eye wanders away from the structure and the reflections in the second one, at least for me.

I also might have tried a crop to remove the transmission tower on the right.
