Oh! This one was taken a couple weeks ago with the 7D and I believe my Canon 10-22. It is 7 images merged in Photomatix.

Oh! No, it's a little older. When I need a shot of confidence, I go shoot a landscape. Let's see............ I remember making sure to at least try to frame it. I thought of composition, what was in the frame and what wasn't. And I made sure the horizon was not in the middle of the frame. And yes, I always welcome critique from all that want to help.

it's a nice shot but nothing holds interest. Foreground? Background? What's in the middle?

At what time of the day you shot this? It's all about light. Watch how colors are changing with the different time of the day. Watch green particularly because you'll notice that change easier on the green

I like the shot but I'm just wondering if from another angle the river could be used as a leading line ???
