Need 80's costume ideas

Our friend's birthday is close to Halloween so he always has a themed costume birthday party. We've done white trash, rejected superheroes and many more. This year is totally 80's. I need ideas - specific looks or characters or people. Hopefully something that can easily and cheapily be done at the goodwill. So far I've just been thinking cruel summer overalls Bananarama. Mainly because it'd be nice and comfortable. What else have you smart kids got for me to ponder?

Can't think of much else off the top of my head without sitting' down for a few hours of VH1's "I love the 80's".......

hmmm in 80 in Poland we were able to get only vinegar in the shop. And when people got toilet paper they almost celebrated it And everyone hold 10 rolls of toilet paper around their neck
