Need a Camera recommendation

I am looking to upgrade from my Canon 20D (which I love) to something with true spot metering. I consider myself between an advanced amateur and semi-professional as I have a degree in photography (although at that time it was all film) and I do shoot engagement photos and family portraits and things of that nature. I am looking to make a push to start selling my own art via a website as well as images to stock photo sites. I am looking for something that is more than just a basic DSLR and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

What kind of a budget do you have to work within? A beer budget? A champagne budget?

i would recomend the canon EOS T1i 500D i work with it and it is amazing

There basically are 3 options, 60D, T3i, T2i. I had a T1i, but wouldn't opt for it now given that the price difference between it and the T2i is like $50. Even BestBuy's site shows them both at the same price.

Basically to sum the 60D, T3i, T2i up:

- They all take the same pictures for the most part as their sensor is the same.

T2i - cheapest
T3i - has a swivel screen (you won't think you need it until you try it at some awkward angle)
60D - slightly better AF, body is constructed the best of the 3, highest price

The 60D also has a much more complete interface than any of the Rebels. I wouldn't consider going from a 20D to a rebel an upgrade, more of a sidestep. Everything would be newer, but the ergonomics are much reduced. For around $1000 it just looks like the 50D and 60D to me. The 50D has a metal body, and micro focus adjust, which are missing on the 60D. Just about everything else was upgraded however... If you're used to the 20D, I really think any of the XXXd or XXXXd bodies will feel like a step backward in usability.
